Damn it, had the front end washout on me on a gravel road and cracked the radiator shroud on the left hand side :21::21: So, can you guys tell me a source for oem plastic parts for these guys. Ain't going to let it ruin my weekend.
Just drill the two pieces and zip tie them together, a new shroud will break as quickly as the last and afterall it's a KLR. I finally resolved the breaking shroud issue with an IMS tank.
I gorilla glued it last night then used colored sharpies to try and hide the repair. Looks alittle crappy but oh well. Learned a good lesson, I can't ride it like my previous dirtbike and it's certainly heavier.
may I suggest www.ronayers.com for mail order parts?
good service, good pricing.
yeah bikebandit works too.
you can drill and cross stitch it up like frankenstien. xxxxxxx
battlescars are cool, chicks dig'em. except chicks don't respect klr's.
did ya get any roadrash?
The shroud was more cracked then shattered so used gorilla glue to just keep the pieces from moving around. Looking for a cool bumper sticker to lay over it to cover the damage. No, no rash, wish I had a cool story to go along with the tip over but just simple stupidity.
sorry about the crash. i has the same thing happen to me the front end washed out but this on snow. I went through Ron Ayers. sometimes they are a little cheaper than bike bandits good luck with fixing your ride.

Sorry to hear your KLR hugged the earth. Is it repairable? You might add the year and color of our KLR.
