What I did with the bike

Got new rubber for the front - Mitas E07
Dunlop stock lasted 11 380 km, I think it was OK

nice looking tire. I checked the price and they are a bit expensive here, but if they have good traction and good mileage then they could be worth it. let us know how long they last and maybe a ride report after you test them, sometime in the near future.

I like the pattern of that tire. I'm getting ready to replace my stock Dunlop on my '09 and it has over 9,500 miles on it now. I'm putting on a Kenda K270.

It is winter here by us
Washed the bike and just had to get out there
Crisp, but quite relaxed after a nice ride

What are your winters like? I wish it was winter here, it is only mid-July and I am already tired of our summer.

Winters in South Africa differs from region to region. We live in the South, wet winters with rain. Temperatures can go as low as 5 degrees celsius and an average of about 18 degrees for highs. Summers are nice and lows and highs 14 to 28.
If it goes above 30, it's really hot, we are between mountain and the sea, but a stunning place to live.
No snow where we live, but on the mountains about 60 km away, quite heavy snow if it really gets cold.
Winds in winter can be hell, no riding pleasure, but all in all, a nice place to be.
