Overberg outride

We live in the beautiful Western Cape, in Hermanus, South Africa
It's winter here and when it does not rain for three to five days, the weather is still so nice that it's not a problem to go riding
Been doing just that this past Saturday
Region is called the Overberg - Over the mountain from Cape Town side

Some photos from GoPro on the helmet

DualThing,
Your next to last pic, (of the road) looks a little damp?
I haven't noticed any ruts in any of your road pics, so I assume that your local road base is 'pretty firm' and does Not turn to slippery / slime the instance it gets wet.
Thanks again for the short ride along.
Paul

It started to rain a day after this outing, we get winter rains
The roads are quite hard and we refer to them as gravel highways
But, after the rains, it can get quite slippery, especially on those shiny patches
But, we are aware of it and careful
Ruts appear after rains but are quickly driven away by vehicles (cages)

Life is good
