Gaerne boots???

Tried on lot's of boots. Was told with my flat, wide, size 12 feet, to try the Gaerne balance. Oiled boot. Anyone have them? Thoughts?

Thanks

I'm an Alpinestar guy myself but I want a stiff off-road boot not a dual sport boot. Also I'm not anatomically similar to you so I can't comment on the Gaerne at all!

But what advice i can give is....

If you don't have any place local try on boots order from Rocky Mt. they have a great free shipping return policy. Read the boot reviews and call customer service and ask them.

I have a pair of Gearne boots and they've treated me well, but I also have wide feet, and I was after a pair of wide, waterproof boots..

After a bunch of research, I went with a pair of TCX http://www.tcxboots.com/usa/ X5 boots.. They're known to be wider than standard boots, and I have to agree..

I've worn them in down pours and not only are my feet dry, but comfortable.. They're actual GoreTex boots, rather than some internal waterproof and sweat causing water proof booty..

Check out the touring line, which has a nice dual sport boot if that's what you want, called the Infinity...

I bought mine because of other guys that I ride with had worn TCX for years of comfort and dryness while riding in rain.. I have to agree..
