Best Farkle Ever!

Tonight I paid for the absolute best farkle available for a KLR. I ponied up for a KLRForum.com Lifetime Premium Membership! I recon that I've received more in savings from the advice and direction due to the knowledgeable members than the price of membership.

Thanks to all for pointing me in the right direction and I'll do my best to return the favor for things that I discover.

I agree. I've gained a veritable s***tload of good information from the fine people here that I figure has saved me a lot of money and I'm not even yet engaged in my Winter 2012 projects that I'm sure will generate even more answers to my questions from folks who know a lot more about the KLR than I do and are willing to help out even though they don't know me. I don't have any other KLR afficionados and tech days around here where I live.

I really appreciate the people who have "been there and done that." I may not be able to reciprocate with wisdom and technical knowledge of my own and I suppose my forum contribution doesn't improve their lives any, but in my opinion this is the best KLR forum so I wanted to show my support for it.

And that's the reason why I contribute to websites, too...

When I had my Yamaha Fz6, the Fz6 website saved me a ton of money and made my bike WAY better!! I learned about Rizoma handlebars, the Yamaha comfort seat, and several other tricks to make the bike much better, and in turn I spread a little wealth towards the site owner as thanks.. Same with a GoldWing forum I used to frequent..

I have no problem helping out as thanks, but I sure don't like it when I'm forced to do so, or I can't have access to even the simplest parts of a forum, or priority is given to those who donate in just bandwidth.. I seldom visit a certain other KLR forum, and a couple months ago I jumped on over there to see something that had been pointed out on ADV.. I went over to help a local guy with a question, and was barred from looking at the question because I wasn't a paying member.. Well, I guess I'll save my time for sites that appreciate donations, rather than force you to do so..

For those that donate to the site, Thank You!! (even though I, nor none of the mods see a dime of it) and for those that are here and don't wish to donate, PLEASE don't feel like you need to.. Seriously..

Truthfully, I'd rather just see people join the site and make posts, ask questions, answer other questions, and have a good time!!!

But the donations do help the website. I don't have any money into the website, but the owners have the site for a reason and they do keep it very secure, continuously running, and add features to make the site better..
