New bike and What to get for gear???

Heres what I will be using the bike for. I will be riding a thousand mile round trip twice a month and I will be riding 150 miles a day round trip back and forth to work all summer. I would like to put some highway bars on it, saddle bags to carry a set of dress cloths in, extra shoes, and maybe enough gear for the weekend when I go on weekend trips. I am not sure what to get for bars and what to get for bags? I am from the cruiser world so this is a new ball game for me! Thanks in advance from the noobie!

Man, that's like 5,000 miles a month if you work 5 days a week. First thing I'd buy would be a maintenance manual and a whole bunch of tires Oh yeah, and a different seat!
