Cheap tank bag

Picked up a Biltmini tank bag from Cycle gear lastnight, this bag works great for carrying my "essentials" for everyday riding. I can put the garage door opener, cell phone, smokes, lighter, gloves & cocoon clip-on sunglasses in the case & still have room for extra stuff. THe magnets hold the bag securely on the tank & I no longer have to kick my tailbag getting on the bike.

Howdy abbott!

You got me hooked after "Cheap".

I'm in the market for a tank bag - I like the stuff that Gears Canada Has.

Their Explorer tank bag is ridiculously large. I'm thinking it might solve the wind buffeting problem the klr has. lol

Then they have some others I like...

Decent prices considering some of the alternatives.

Now, if you could find me a link, I'd be interested in looking to see what you got. They do have some good deals...

I can't post links on here yet but if you search 1001065 on cyclegear it will come up as the BILT mini tank bag.

Hey guys I have the Bilt tank bag (next larger size I think) and it works great. Mine is a single expandable compartment with a map pouch. It isn't waterproof so I use ziplock bags for DELICATE ITEMS. My coffee cup, though, has to ride naked. This is a good value for the price. Ride safe James

I like the bilt bag, but I'd like to get one with the map/ phone clear slip in the top. I've been eyeing a Coleman / paul jr. Designs tank bag on amazon.. I just wonder if Walmart carries it since they have other pjd stuff. Anyone have this bag? Seems to be about the same size..

the Bilt bag that I have has the clear map pocket on top. I would still put a map in ziplock bag then in the map holder. Moist does get in there .. Ride safe James

Yep thats the one I have. Seems to be good value for the money. Magnets go under the fairing wings and it removes easily to fuel the bike. It will interfere with a cup holder mounted behind the bars and it overlaps the seat by about 2 inches but hasn't bothered my seating position. I don't have enough posts to post pics yet. Ride safe James
