Armour is it Tight or loose?

My new phoenix mesh jacket has lots of padding, but its loose.Sorta flops around and thats with everything tightened down.
is it suppose to be loose? Should I ad straps and cinch it all down tight sorta like hockey equipment?

yeah would say,, to big no good..

you want protection to be kind of tight ,,on your body..
on race day ,,some places check to see if gear is proper/fitted..
- suspose to with leathers:be tight enough where can only ,,fit -two fingers- wide inside..

example; when tire is full of air it rotates::: when get a flat - tire will start to flap around the rim..

so you want to skid/slide,, when comeing off a bike = not flop around ,like in a washer machine...

I'd say the same, bike gear with moulded armour in it should be tight enough so that in a crash the armour bits stay where they're designed to be

Lace it if that will work. But yeah, those pads need to be in the right place...
