Turn signal-OEM or LED

I have a choice to make. I have a front turn signal on my 2006 that works, but the housing is broken. I would like to replace it. I haven't found any for sale on the forums, and ebay is $24 and up for a used one. Or........ I could go with some aftermarket LEDs all the way around with some relatively cheap ones off of ebay. Or, replace with OEM and put in LED bulbs. Then I would also add a LED tail/brake light. This would raise the cost a significant amount, but the LEDs would be done and hopefully last a long time. Comments?

Thanks for the replies gents. That was my original thought, to replace with a used original and put in led bulbs.

Yup, OEM's all the way. A buddy of mine has the cheapo ebay triangular LED signals and you can barely see them in daylight. Lol, not very good for letting your intentions be known!

if you put in led's you have to put a diode into the wiring in the dash to make them work as well as a electronic flasher .
i have some spare signals if the other guy falls through

A diode in the dash wiring? Here I thought you just needed to change out the flasher.
