Waterproof jacket not so waterproof anymore

Hey all,

I have a Tourmaster Advanced Sport jacket that I have worn through many a rainstorm so far, and I noticed tonight that it is not as waterproof as it used to be. Do any of you recommend a spray that will keep me dry this winter?

Thanks,
Doc

Nikwax or Grangers - both make a wash in waterproofing treatment for textile clothing. Get some techwash to clean the jacket first though so you don't seal in the gunge.

You need to hook up with member, DantesDame. She works for NixWax.

Both the wash in and the spray on Nikwax stuff has always worked well on my Aerostich so it should work on other gortex/cordura gear.

Having worked there for 3 years, I like reading stuff like this

And if anyone has any questions, I have some residual memory of what I learned while there. Feel free to ask me!
