Go Pro Compensation

It's well-known that in a lot of sports, as the technology of protective gear improves, the person using that gear will start taking greater risks whilst participating in their chosen endeavor. While cameras don't fall into the category of protective gear, I pose the following question.....

Do any of you guys who use GoPros or other "action cameras" while riding ever have the urge to ride a little faster, a little more aggressively or go places you might not otherwise go in order to obtain more compelling footage?

This old fart doesn't... It takes longer and longer to heal as I get older, and I don't enjoy pain.

I tend to ride slower. Get better video that way.
I find that filming tends to be more distracting. You have to concentrate on both what you intend to capture on film (Memory Device) and your driving.
I personally try to film where there's little traffic. ( Off road or back roads)

As acidman mentioned, don't take chances if possible. Still, distraction creates the likelihood of something bad happening.

Like any aspect of riding, keep your wits about you and be careful.

Just record as you normally ride, but when you edit your movie bump the speed up a little so you look faster.
