Solo Seat

Hi Forum Members, I'm prepping for a trip up Continental Divide Trail and would like a comfortable solo seat, also to create more rack space. Any suggestions. Can't say what year of KLR as I have not yet bought bike but am looking.
Thanks,
Phaedrus

I've never seen a solo seat on a KLR... Not to say they don't make them, I've just never seen one. I know Dr. Frazier traveled the world on a first gen KLR with what I think was an adapted Goldwing seat... The Russel Daylong is supposed to be super comfortable (though butt ugly). Not sure if they have an actual solo model though?

yeah i concurr with stew, however there are some places that have you send your stock seat in and they can mold and shape new foam for you. might be an option.

Here's a pic of Doc Fraziers saddle... I'm not sure if it was an existing saddle that he adapted, or one that he had custom made.
