very cool finally making a quick release take down however, it was only 2 screws before so i dont really see the need.

Nice. I don't know about the price point though. I know the normal ones are almost half the cost of this... the takedown isn't that much more helpful except for on plane rides and traveling.

The takedown would be really handy on a quad or bike in the back country. Not allowed handguns in Canada. The takedown would be much easier to transport.

That makes a lot more sense now then. No handguns allowed in Canada. How about AR15s?

People can own handgun(restricted firearm) but only for use at a range. NO carry permitted.
I believe AR 15s and similar were banned as "assault rifles". No magazines over 5 round capacity. No barrel length below 18 1/2'' There are a bunch more restrictions but you get the idea.

I really enjoy my Ruger TD, and it IS convenient to pack to go to the range. The versatility extends to its all-weather construction and aftermarket accessories as well.
There is a certain satisfaction, however, when bungee-cording a long gun and range bag to a motorcycle for some range time. Seems like drivers may give me more room, but maybe it's just me.
