Need taller windshield recommendation

Tired of buffeting on the highway - I'm 5'11" - can someone out there recommend a shield that has worked well for them? Many thanks!

I'm 6' 2" and replaced my stock tall windscreen with a BajaWorx windscreen. It greatly improved wind buffeting, but not as much as I had hoped. However, if I hunch down a few inches it is really nice! You being 3" shorter it might be worth looking at.

For highway touring I am almost ready to go for the expensive Cee Bailey option.

That's an interesting option - thanks! I checked out the Cee a Bailey too - very cool.

Remove your stock windshield completely and go for a ride without it. You might wind up saving yourself a couple hundred bucks. Seriously, give it a try before you buy a big windshield.

Thinking about going this way myself, or at least putting the stock small windshield back on. I have the factory tall windshield and it buffet's like a bugger, plus my face shield gets covered with bugs anyway. I'm thinking with no or a small shield at least I'll be in undisturbed air?

Madstat windshield

This is the one I have and I don't think any others match up. Can't post a link but the company is MadStat Engineering.
It is amazingly adjustable and air flows on front and back of it. I now ride in quiet and dry.

Yep. Really amazing. The FJ Yamaha uses the same technology.
