Gel Seat Cover

Any recommendatios on a gel seat cover.

Noticed quite a few riders have gotten away from the good old sheep skin. Maybe it's time I stepped out of the 1980's, besides the one I have now is getting pretty ragged.

Any suggestions, possibly a site to check out.

much appreciated

Best Wishes to All, this Holiday Season

Walmart has a seat cover that is for ATV's but fits the KLR well and only costs about $15. I've seen a number of guys post that it was a good improvement over the stock seat.

Gel Seat Cover

Thanks, I will check out Walmart, after Christmas.

There is no rush, winter is not going away any time soon.

BackRoader;

Let me know if you find one of these in your local Walmart. From what I have seen around here, Walmart Canada is not carrying them. If you happen to find them pick one up for me and I'll pay you back for it.

ermmm, I am not really sure what the make is. I have only seen the one kind, and my bike is at my buddies garage, I can't go out and check it for you at the moment.

I have 3 covers left, if anyone's in need of one. All I need is my cost covered, which is the $15, tax, and shipping. If I send it out to someone in the states, it's $20 shipped.
They're ATV Seat covers from Stearns. If I remember correctly, the cheapest they're available for is around $35 from Bass Pro or Cabela's.

I travel all over and I keep my eye out for them at Walmarts, since I typically run in at the location I'm working to get a couple buckets, some paper towels and ice, so while I'm there I check for the seat covers. If I find them, I take them all and supply them here if needed.

As far as finding them, I'll just say that I tried Walmarts around me for over 300 miles, and found none. The ones I have are from Virginia and Louisiana. I carry an extra dufflebag in my luggage and stick them in there and check the bag at the airport.

KLR4ever, if you'd like one, figure out what shipping would be from me to you and PM me. We'll work something out. I don't want you paying more in duty than the cover is in the first place.
