Helmet strap quick release

Saw those plastic helmet strap quick releases online somewhere. Wonder if they will break easy in like maybe a crash and there goes your lid...anybody know anything about these?
Thx Joe

I have them on both of my helmets....I like being able to do and undo my helmet with gloves on, makes life easier...

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

just ordered one from cabelas, will follow up when installed..
looks well made, and much less cumbersome than the d rings.

update:
works great for me! comfortable, easy install, secure, quick.
two thumbs up.

They're supposed to be as strong as D rings. For liabilty purposes, I'm sure they are, or they'd need a very expensive lawyer..

I haven't had a helmet with one in years, but I seem to remember it was handy.

I don't undo the chinstrap every time. I have the chinstrap just loose enough to slide past my chin with a little encouragement. Grab the jaw line of the helmet and hold the chinstrap with my thumb and slide the helmet on or off.
