Aluminum boxes

Hello,
I'm new to klr 650, just picked up 2008. Last bike, Honda blackbird.
Needed something for daily ride with good gas mileage. Love it so far.
Question is, does anyone have experience with Whitehorse gear up in
New Hampshire? Specifically the aluminum touring boxes?
Thanks in advance...

Welcome Sambo, and congrats on the new bike. I have heard about Whitehorse, but have no experience. I have Pelican side cases.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Don't know anything about the alum boxes, but have ordered twice from them with no problems and good phone information regarding soft bags.

Those Afrika boxes are very spendy ($590+ with brackets & bags), but apparently very tough. I've read riders claim they'll last the life of the bike. Sorry, this is secondhand opinion only. I would, however, love to have a set for camping--they've a lot (4,300 cubic inches) of room.

Aluminum boxes

Thanks to all for responding. Those Aluminum boxes are quite $$...
the Pelican case sounds like a worthy alternative...I can't seem to find anyone who has mounting brackets for 2008.....anyone know where to get these/

Thanks
