Alpine Star jacket, great price, terrible smell!!!

Dark of night after a long day on construction,... "hey buddy, want to buy a good motorcycle jacket!!!" Great price, windy evening, got 2 miles down the road and had to put it in the back of the truck. Smells like it hung on a rack in a smokey bar for about three years.

I've scrubbed the outside with a good leather cleaner and the smell goes away for about a day. The inside liner has been airing on the back porch for about a week and is fine. Removed armour and soaked in Biz it's fine too. Turned it wrong side out and showed the inside mesh the better part of a bottle of febreeze over a couple day period and it still smells horrible. Any ideas?

Place the following items in the dryer. 6 dryer sheets, 3 brand new tennis balls, the leather item and then turn the dryer on low or no heat for 45 minutes (May have to be ran twice). That was the only thing to knock the smell out of it.

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

go to an rv dealership or maybe even a detailing shop and get a bomb they use to remove smoke odors, bag your jacket and let the bomb off, may need to use a larger area like a bathroom.
