Seat that doesn't cause a tranny tuck?

I am looking for a seat that doesn't thrust me forward and you know, make me a woman. I was going to go with seat concepts commuter but then a review says that it still send you forward and doesn't sit you flat or back a bit. I cut a giant flat spot in the stock seat cushion because it was so bad.

I would rather not have to build my own seat.

Any suggestions?

I sold my 1995 Harley Sportster 1200 last night....end of an era.

If your bike is older than a 14 1/2, go sit on a new KLR. The seat was changed in 14.

Seat Mods

I took my seat to an auto upholstery shop. I had them trim about 2" off the back, tapering to 0" about half way to the front. Made the seat much flatter, and no more scooting forward.
My wife made a cover for some foam seat padding, and I strapped it on top. Way more comfortable now.

Here's a link to my KLR page. Scroll down about 4 images to the section on the seat mod.

I bought a 20"x15" nylon cutting board at Walmart. Left it 15" at the rear and tapered to stock at the front without the dip in the stock base pan. Bolted it to the stock base pan with 2" of foam cushion and some vinyl covering from a fabric ship.

On the highway I sit back on the wide part and on dirt I move up to the narrower part. No dip in the middle to push me forward.

I can always remove the board and foam and drop the stock foam and cover back on.

My Seat Concepts Commuter has stood me well on two longer trips, 8,000 miles last year to Inuvik, 3,000 Baja miles in February and March this year. No "tranny tuck" here.

I have been loving my Sargent World Sport Adventure Touring Seat. I am not tall at 5'10" with a 30" inseam. So, I purchased the lower profile version of the seat. Both variants have the same shape/contour though. So, I would imagine the tall or regular profile Sargent seat would just be a slightly softer version. It made a HUGE difference for me both in terms of comfort on longer rides and in terms of control when off road.

I picked mine up from Revzilla, but I can't link here...
