Bluetooth

Thinking of buying a bluetooth headset and would like some input as to what others are using to communicate. Are all headset brands compatible to use on group rides or need to be same set? They are costly investment so any info helps

I use the SENA 20s. They've been great us.

We have the SENA 20’s also.
For the most part they work very good.
More range would be nice. Our experiences have been they truly are line of site with occasional longer range.

Don’t expect high quality sound. The speakers have 0 bass. Voice is acceptable.

Battery life is very good. We can usually get a solid 12 hours use which amounts to like 3- 1 day rides in the canyons.
Charge time is very good. Less than 2 hours from dead.

I never use it for phone calls but my son says it works pretty good. Both of us use it a lot for music.

We decided on these based on the reviews.
Pricey but I think in these you get what you pay for.

I was looking too but music is the most important. I can't find anything for "in helmet" that fits the bill.

Right.
There’s more bass in the smaller speakers in my iPhone than there is on sena.
