A little more comfort being in the saddle awhile.

On longer rides I (and most likely you too ) experience a bit of burning sensation on your butt. I found a product called “Anti-Monkey Butt Powder”. It is sold at AG equipment/tractor dealers/farm and ranch stores. Here in Texas it is sold at Tractor Supply co. It is marketed to those that spend time on the seat(s) of tractors, combines, etc. Not sure why, but the stuff works better than name brand powders to spritz your shorts with. IMHO. Inexepensive, and you can a little ride farther without/less of the “burn”.

Good to know, I've always used Gold Bond but will try this since it's an excuse to go to Tractor Supply.

It's real important that you keep that nasty spot down there clean too! It doesn't have to be clean enough to eat off of, but a little extra effort in the personal hygiene dept might make your ride better. It can't be just "clean enough". If it's hot out and a little on the "dirty" side. Well,,, that gets uncomfortable!

For those long days on the road a good sheepskin is real hard to beat for added comfort.
