TKC70 Rear Tire Life

I'm doing some trip planning which includes thinking ahead on tire changes. For those who specifically run a TKC70 on the rear I am curious about what kind of tire life/mileage you've managed. Ranges are fine. I'm well aware that on/off road and weight factor in.

Hi Donkey, I run them on my bike and after almost 1500 miles the wear is hardly noticeable. I’m sure I will get close to 6,000 miles on the rear easily. I ride one up exclusively on mainly paved and gravel with just a top case. I’ve heard the fronts like to cup before they’re worn out. Hope this helps.

Thx for the input Uncle Dick... It's my hope that a person or two that have run one all the way to end of life (on their KLR) weigh in.

I get 17000km out of a Trail Attack 2 and 8000km from a TKC 80.

Would that equate to 12000km from a TKC70 ???

Thx for the input Belldriver but as stated before... It's my hope that a person or two who have run a TKC70 all the way to end of life (on their KLR) weigh in.
