Tank bag fit

Just picked up a tank bag from Fieldsheer (Eiffel model)and the fairing prevents the front magnets from attaching to the tank. Short of cutting up the plastic fairing what are my options here?

I've never had a tank bag, but you could pick up some rare earth magnets and put the magnets for the front in a different location? Bungee cord? If you could put up a pic that would help. My powers of visualization are weak right now.

I have one on my 2008 and the magnetic base slides up under the fairing. It's a little snug, but it works.

Try turning it around and let the larger magnetic feet attach to the tank.

I use straps front and rear.
