Spanky, thanks for the info. I need to look at the map. Been in Arkansas since 2002 and have seen very little of this beautiful state. How close are you to Cabot? I would love to hook up with some folks that want to ride. Trying to talk my buddy into getting one. I just installed a sw motech skid plate my old man got me for my B-day, very nice of him. I just bought some packrat pannier racks and installed some pelican 1520 cases. A little skinnier than the 1550 cases most people use. So how off road are you talkin? will the hard bags get in the way meaning real tight trails or general off road stuff? Im ready to go just about any weekend. If I dont hook up with other riders I will do it regardless but nice to have someone off road with ya for any emergencies. Let me know if you want to hook up and do some riding. I see KLRs around just dont know how many arkansas riders are on the forum. Not too many recent posts in this thread.

Lisa and I ride out of our home in Prairie Grove....we also have a home in Fort Gibson, OK as well. We spend weekends between PG and FG ...just south and east of Fayetteville. I have a ride planned around the lake just north of Fort Gibson the weekend of the 21st. Any weekend is a ride weekend. The routes we take out of Prairie Grove can be as difficult as you desire. Lisa and I prefer the more sedate routes where panniers would pose no problems. I carry tools and spares. I don't want to ever worry about being stranded. Post up...let me know when you want to ride!
