[QUOTE=RobMac747;278922]First, what's the 646bph mean?? Now that we have that nagging question out of the way, this sounds good for the upcoming ridin season. Now all we have to do is find a few more guys and we'll have a crew to ride with. I moved back here from Windsor (Southern ON) where I lived for 15 years, I'm originally from NS and that was bizarre Al, when you mentioned your cottage in River John, my family's cottage growing up was on Caribou Island, not far at all from yours. I went to school and was friends with quite a few River Johnners. I'm trying to sell my Dad's house in Pictou, right now, so it sounds like we could all easily meet in the Pictou area at some point.
Al, didi you get my text about the new farkles/mods I got?
Conti TKC 80 tires (both)
Givi engine guards,
progressive fork springs,
Stainless steel brake lines (front).
I'm thinking of using the KLR more for dualsport touring, logging roads and the like, and I am still looking at buying another , more nimble bike for playing around on. I've looked at a lot, most recently a WR250, but also looked at the KTM's and Huskies. Perhaps cheaper is better, at least initially, a used WR250 rather than a KTM 300, I just want something I can play in the woods with, but still drive on the road to get there. And I want it to be less work then throwing my KLR around, or worse, picking it up 5-6x in an afternoon. I'm going to get in touch with Lawrence and Kyle, 2 other KLR guys who I used to ride with last summer and perhaps we can use this forum as a hangout for the time being.
I did get you message, but I have not been getting any notifications from this site. Is there something that I did not do correctly? As I said before, I am looking forward to being a doohickey assistant.
