I'm still getting acquainted!
But it is 'fun'! I like seeing/having older threads to respond to!
WHO is still 'out there'? Some of 'this' may bring them back.

How many of us fail to 'un-subscribe' from an old thread?

Cool

As a rule, I fear and loathe change. BUT, I'm with Cabrito. Wasn't right having no Gen1's on the banner. Looks good!

Still like the new look but page loading speed is adversely affected by the time it takes to load all the ad content.

(Viewing with a symmetric 20mbps fiber Internet connection.)

Try clearing your cache and doing a log in/out which could help load times.

Appreciate the effort to, "improve" things, but . . . I prefer the previous format, by comparison.

First, I do not appreciate the allocation by priority of "most popular" discussions--for me, the chronological listing of topics/posts is more favorable, more likely to highlight a thread of interest than the "most popular" designation.

Next . . . the herky-jerky start is still with us . . . must scroll past unchanging images of shoes and stuff, including repetitive verbiage, to get to the discussion topics . . . a time-consuming and frustrating process, ever present whenever one wishes to scan the website.

I know money makes the world go 'round, and advertising revenue remains vital . . . a delicate balance exists between flacking a product, and becoming so obtrusive the target market for the advertising abandons the presentation and walks away . . .

Don't mean to be overly critical; again, I appreciate the effort. However, I find the new look more cumbersome and inconvenient than the old one, and . . . no "faster," by any means.

Maybe it's just ME; operator error, ignorance, and/or incompetence. I thank the website management for their effort at improvement, regardless.

Thanks for the feedback.

Have you tried clearing your cache and doing a log out/in.

Also if you stay logged in with the "remember me" box you should not see as many ads or the audio pop ups.

We also have different options for viewing threads:

Thanks, Jeff; I'm willing to try, but . . . I don't even know what, "clear my cache" means, much less HOW to do it.

I'm willing to try, but . . . can you help me out with a tutorial?

Thanks again.
