Box of farkles

I love getting a box of stuff for my bike on a Friday. I got the Happy Trails PD nerf set, the engine guard and highway pegs, and the skid plate.

Feels like Christmas

Installation was pretty easy, a little confusion here and there but in the end, I figured it all out.

Happy Trails, in my experience, does not produce the most lucid, unambiguous, detailed, updated, accurate, clearly-illustrated and precise instructions I've ever seen . . .

The Customer Service telephone answerer at Happy Trails will NEVER be lonely, IMHO!

I'm not really big on the HT look either. They might be tough but they don't look it.

Yeah, you have to undo the top 2 bolts on the guards and pivot them down to get the side fairings off.

The skid plate and engine guard are a vast improvement over the stock setup. I feel a lot better about going over stuff now. The highway pegs are a bonus. Haven't ridden it enough to know if those will help on the long rides. I suspect they will. The crash bars seem sturdy enough for low speed crashes.
