GoPro discount

http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1...4W321837W663W2

Is this a good deal?

I have plans to buy a GoPro for the NorCal Tech Daze trip. What additional accessories will be useful?

Check Adorama $207.99 for the naked version. I'll use Ram mounts for the bike and wouldn't hang that on my helmet! I've purchased tons of camera gear from them. They have good prices, outstanding customer service and usually free shipping.

That $239 at Cyclegear is the right price. You don't see them that low often. The Motorsports package comes with lots of goodies.

There is a great GoPro resource called Eyeofmine who sells lots of neat things for the GoPro http://www.eyeofmine.com/gopro/

i gotta good go pro story for ya ... went and bought one. usual canadian rape price. installed on my low fender. first ride ... 32 seconds bottomed the camera out under the front head light, or hit a stone. smashed shutter button while in the case, case then opened, camera fell apart in the mud, back tracked 1km and found all parts after looking for an hour.
no service, no waranty. got a discount codefrom gopro.com to order a new one. bought second camera at reasonable price (and picked up a spare battery and charger and live view back) and go pro sent me a free head mount. no shortage of mounts now. ended up spending too much money, what else is new. at least i should be able to use it snorkeling too.
overall i was pretty happy, but i still think the shutter button of the housing can damage the camera, and that shouldn't be possible.
