2 1/2 gallon plastic bags

I found Hefty OneZip Click 2 1/2 gallon plastic bags and plan to use them while traveling. They are 14 3/8" x 16" and should fit very well in soft luggage. Easy to layer, water proof, inexpensive. Also great for parts storage in the shop. Any other ideas?

I put the spare tubes I carry on the bike with me in them along with a little talcum powder. I put each tube in a separate ziploc, then put them both into one. I'm hoping it helps with any kind of friction/abrasion from the tubes being constantly stored on the bike.
Makes them a little bulkier, but I hope it protects them from rubbing, etc.
