Dash install

I was wanting a power outlet for my GPS and a couple of switches for my Denali lights and 1 for my Air compressor.

This is what I installed

Great dash. Man, yamadog, first the brake cylinder cover, then the tire changer and now this? You do excellent work on everything. Thanks for the photos.

Garage
Can you better explain or show with pics how you have your gps wired in? I have a similar one and thought about wiring it this year instead of just using its battery.
Any pics of your lights and compressor?
Sounds like good stuff!

Savage,

You need to pick up a GPS hardwire from Garmin,Fry's or any other place that sells the harnesses.
Once you have the harness hook grd wire to your ground on bike and red wire to one side of any of the switches, run the hot wire from the cigarrette lighter to the opposite side of the switch.

Your fuse that you put on the dash installation will work for the GPS.

I am running a waterproof cover on the GPS that I purchased thru RAM.
