How many times can I mention farkle this week?

Another item came in the mail today that I'm pretty jazzed about. After five or six tip overs I've had to straighten out and/or tighten my mirrors. It's inevitable that they're going to be broken off at this rate so I ordered a pair of DoubleTake mirrors.

The pros are they offer the same visibility as the stock mirrors and had I ordered the longer 3" ram arms I'd have even better visibility! They're also a bit lighter than the stock mirrors and less likely to break in the event you smack something. But the BEST pro is with the twist of a wingnut I can fold them both inward where they're out of harms way i.e. tipping over off road, tree branches etc.
The only con I've found is they require removing our stock KLR rubber dampened mirror mounts so the Double Take mirrors aren't going to let you read license plates behind you but you can still safeły see who IS behind you!

Yeah, the pair were $92 plus $6.50 USPS Priority shipping but that's cheap compared with the cost and inconvenience of replacing OE mirrors and carting their remains out of the wilderness.
