Free Garmin Topo Maps

Sorry if this has been posted before. I did a quick search, but didn’t see anything.

I came across this web site that has Topo maps that you can download to your computer.
After downloading, you just double click the file to open it’s install program, and it installs right into your Garmin mapsource, or BaseCamp programs.

From Mapsource, or BaseCamp, you can transfer the Topo map to the GPS.
I downloaded nhtopo11 and successfully transferred it to my Nuvi550 and Nuvi755.
I also downloaded Northeast Topo United States Part1 of 3 which covers from the Great Lakes to Maine. I had to use BaseCamp to get a successful transfer, but it did load on my Nuvi550 ( For some reason Mapsource resulted in no detail, but using BaseCamp, it gave correct detail.)
There are quite a few maps listed.

Thought some of you guys may find this useful.

Good find, man! There's a ton of interesting stuff on that site.

I've been using that site for awhile to download GPS maps. It's a great resource!
