Ram X-GripMount Adaptor...

I've got a Ram X-Grip mount that I use with my Iphone's WAZE app for navigation. Unfortunately, My ass is old and I can't see that well anymore, so I ordered the 2X Ram magnifier, also from Ram.

Now the problem is this: the base of the x-grip mount is round, and the magnifier has a diamond shaped connector.

Anyone run into this before? I can't seem to find an answer on the 'net, and the place I bought it from also seems to be stumped at the moment.

That's never going to work.

I think you'll have to buy one of these (or similar; just picked that one).

The other issue with that mount is I'd have to remove the phone from it's OtterCase...not gonna happen.

I don't speak iPhone so I don't know the relative merits, but they make an AquaBox version.

Either way you need the whole deal, $10 or $30.

Yeah, I like mine, too. You can stuff all sorts of things into it.

Holds my gloves just fine when I 'm gassing up. ;^)

I ride with some Harley riders who use the X mount with out any problems.
I personally keep the phone a way from me when I ride. When I am in the saddle it is a NO PHONE ZONE.

Here's the finished product Tom, 2x magnifier and Aqua Box for IPhone Nav system...works just fine. I'd still rather have an X-mount adaptor for the magnifier, but apparently that hasn't hit anyone's radar yet in the manufacturing area.

Thanks for the advise...
