Mods for fitting 2007 pannier rack to 2008?

Haven't been able to find anything on modifying a 2007 side pannier rack to fit a 2008 KLR650. Is there such a thing or do I need to go with 2008 rigging? Any help would be appreciated.

Modifying means doing it yourself IMO. I just finished fabbing up racks for my givi bags to go on my KLR. Yes I know, I have the tools and no how.

There is another inmate having the same issues but these are easily solved. Tusk is about the least expensive out there.

Good luck. FWIW, I have been considering making up a few sets of my racks and selling them to inmates. Guess I would have to see what interest out there.

Modifying something is going to probably be more trouble than it's worth. Seeing as you are in Canada I think your best bet is to get somethng from DirtBaggs. They are in Calgary.
