What's in your handlebar bag?

Just mounted a handlebar bag on my '09 and now wondering what all I'm going to keep in it. Pretty satisfied with my self, had a MOLLE bag I used in my hiking pack that was just the right size. Found some Velcro straps and it is solid as a rock. Would love to post pictures but still new to this site so you will just have to wait for a few more posts.

Just wondering what everyone keeps in there. My basic idea for it was a spot for my sunglasses and a granola bar or two.

What do you all keep in yours?

Tony

I use a Mossy Oak auto sun-visor pouch, not water proof but has a big zipper pouch and a other compartment.
I keep my documents in a Ziploc bag, usb cord and a knife all the time. Add various other things I may want quick access to while on a trip.

Lotsa stuff.

Moose Racing motorcycle multi-tool (pliers, knife, file, etc., plus bits including tire valve core wrench), LED flashlight/work light (Harbor Freight premium), JB Weld, electrical tape, zip ties, medication/first aid supplies, Locktite, tube patch kit, even a ratcheting tool with sockets and screwdriver bits stored in its handle, lighter for campfires, bike documentation in zip-lock plastic bag . . . nuts and bolts . . . Gorilla tape . . . granola bars . . . basically, anything to which I might need urgent access on a ride, that fits. And all this, plus stuff I'm forgetting, fits inside a Kawasaki handlebar bag; this accessory is cataloged for Generation 2, but fits Generation 1, also, KLR250.

Insttallation tip: Wrap Velcro straps around BOTH main handlebar and support bar for proper conformation of bag when mounted.

DAMMMMM....
My bike came with the Mossy Oak pouch, now I may be looking into the KLR bar-bag, didn't know they were that big, it would match my saddle and tail bag.

Holds more than you might think . . . two major separate compartments, and . . . I think maybe a net divider, maybe a zippered pocket as well. I was disappointed when I first saw the bag I ordered, underestimating its capacity. But, in use, I've found it much roomier than I expected upon first sight.

Handlebar bag

I have a "cheap" Amazon handlebar bag that I carry my tools in. (Just tools, NOT stuff like tire irons, tubes etc.) I put it inside my tail bag. Doesn't take up much space.
