I agree that a good narrated video is nice, if the guy has clear sounding audio. My open face helmet is bad for wind noise, almost to the point that it's hard to make out what's being said.
I tried to tape a ride, but the audio was bad. I'm not a good announcer to boot. That's why my videos all have typed text. I don't use a full face helmet. Using one might give better voice audio?
There are many videos where the guy narrates, but my old ears can't make out half of what he's saying. Videos where someone is showing how to do something, have audio ranging from very loud, to barely able to hear what's being said. or so much wind noise, that it's distracting.
One of my reasons for doing the above test was to get a bike-sound, so I could plug it into the video at proper sound level to enhance the video. Like background level. I would not use it continuously as it would drive me nuts too.
I have to say, that the KLR doesn't have as pleasing exhaust sound, as some other bikes.
My search for better ways to produce a video is ongoing. Maybe I could find some "sexy" young thing to narrate for me. (Know of anybody?)
