Help me identify this part!

Hey!

I bought this thing which the previous owner thought was a rear rack extended. He had gotten it in a box of KLR odds and ends from someone else and didnít know much about it. It does seem to have the ability to move slightly - extend out if you will, but I canít figure out how to mount it on my bike, or why it has such odd bolt holes. Anyone have any idea what it could be? brand or model or

I've never seen anything like it for any KLR. Or any other bike. But I do live in the middle of no-where.

Looks like a mount for a car seat. No idea what make/model car. Not for a KLR for sure though. Haha

I second the seat mount, but I would lean towards a tractor or utility vehicle.
