Rifle windshield vent kit

I just received a windshield vent kit from Rifle Fairings. The price of this kit is $49.00. I was shocked at how cheaply made it is. It consists of about 3oz. of two vacuum molded plastic parts, plastic screws and a drill bit to drill through a windshield. I doubt if the parts cost more than two dollars. This kit is made to direct a stream of air up the backside of a windscreen using the same principle that BMW sport touring windscreens have used for years. If this is an example of all Rifle product pricing and quality I urge everyone to actually see what you might be buying from them. I want all companies to be profitable but this is gouging beyond belief. Beware!

Ya that is a bit pricey all right. You could have bought a vent kit for a Goldwing windshield for less and it's adjustable.

Hmm. That gives me an idea.
