Output shaft seal

Had a small drip of oil under my bike from the front sprocket area. So in I went...

Once you get the sprocket off (and cleaned up!) here's what you'll see:

There is a metal collar surounding the shaft that pulls out easily. The seal will just pop out with a bit of a pry. There's an o-ring in the groove of the shaft visable behind the splines.

My o-ring was broken. The metal collar was worn but the seal looked OK. I replaced all 3.

Use a bit of oil to coat the parts for assembly. I used a piece of PVC pipe to drive the seal back in (flush with the outside shiny surface), didn't take much force. The metal collar's detents install towards the motor.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Cor 2:9
