Tank Guards etc.

Does anyone have a good contact to provide tank and engine guards? Or did anyone build some of their own with good success? I ahve seen the ones available on the internet. I have a new '09 model, I believe this is the same as the '08.

I just got the motech crash bars from Twisted Throttle...haven't put them on yet, but they look quality. My wife especially likes the way they look in the dining room.

Crash guards

Motech are nice. I road with the VFW riders on a Xcountry. One of them had them installed on their KLR. They have a three point mount and sturdy. If you are long legged they may be in your way of the knees. Look at the pic close and measure/ place were your knees ride against the tank.
