Congratulations on picking up your new KLR and welcome to the forum! Chile. Man, I wish I could ride down there. You guys have some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Enjoy it on your KLR!

Many thanks !

Yeah, we do have almost every riding condition. From extreme desert in the north, high mountains all along the country, green valleys in the central region, large forests and lakes in the south down to the Patagonia, we are privileged. This is why I decided to go for a KLR. Few bikes can be so versatile and reliable to ride under so different conditions. I really hope to enjoy the ride. You are most welcome to visit us, there is a small group of KLR riders who will be glad to show you around.

Thanks again and best regards

first time I ever noticed a KLR was in Peru last November
we rented one to tour around the country, Sacred Valley, Manu rain forest etc.

liked the bike so much I bought one

guess I need to try Chile some time

although our next scheduled trip is Senegal (Dakar)

From next week will be travelling abroad and will stop over couple days in New York. Any good Kawasaki store/dealer where I can take a look? Want to buy panier racks and take a look to other accesories.

Many thanks for your comments

Not sure about new York but have a nice trip. Great picture of the bikes with your sons. I have just recently started riding with my son. What a joy. Chile looks quite beautiful.

As for panniers, I have the wolfman saddlebags but really like the happy tRails. Not sure if it's kosher but these look beefy: http://www.happy-trail.com/KLR650/Al...ee-KLR650.aspx

Cheers!
