New Member Hello from Arkansas

Hey Guys, I am new to the KLR thing, just bought a brand new 2009 with 192 miles on it 2 weeks ago. A garage kinda deal, the guy said he rode it a few times and it scared the $hit outta him so lucky me. I just mounted a trunk on it, lowered it, cut the kickstand and shortened it for the lowering project as it would no longer sit on the stand anymore. I love this thing, now I am working on finding a set of side racks for mounting my Pelican 1550 cases. I just posted an add for trading a second set of these cases for some racks as buying alot of new parts for it are kinda hard to justify to the misses. When I asked her if I could get the new bike she got mad and said "just do whatever the F you want", evidently I didnt read that the right way cause I bought the bike and have been sleeping on the couch ever since. LOL. Regardless, I have a set of orange Pelican 1550 cases for trade for some nice side racks if you have any, give me a shout.

I have an antique MG Midget that I have restored and plan to sell it in the spring and do some more dress up on the KLR and with the rest I plan to buy me a new Triumph motorcycle as well. Guess I will never get off the couch.
