Greetings from St Augustine.

Hey all, just wanted to say hello. Picked up my 1st KLR over the weekend. It's my 1st bike so I imagine Im going to be bombarding you all with questions in the coming weeks and months as I learn to ride.

Welcome, Congrats on your purchase. Get the proper riding gear and a riders course, plenty of good folks here to answer questions and give advice. Ride Safe

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your KLR. We'll expect photos from the country's oldest continuously-occupied European-established settlement and hometown of Ray Charles, Tom Petty and aerobatic pilot Patty Wagstaff.

The KLR should be good for negotiating the narrowest street in the country.

Tom Petty's hometown is Gainesville, home of the Gators.

He was listed as a "Notable Resident" of St. Augustine and apparently at one time lived just outside the town. He is, in fact, spawned from Gainesville as you noted.

Ray Charles isn't from there, either, but developed his musical talents while attending the Florida School For The Deaf And Blind in St. Augustine from 1937-1945.
