Greetings from Bonnie Scotland

Hello on a beautiful Scottish morning. Been a biker for 30 years and enjoy tinkering as well as riding. Just had a wee baby 4 months back so had sold my KZ1100 and bought an er5 in an effort to keep some biking. Anyway I never rest so another project was bound to happen, I got caught with the bike trailer on greeted on my return with open arms and a sleeping bag to sleep in the garage Anyway the purchase, for junk money, is a 1984 KLR600 kickstart model. The bike had been stolen and recovered so wiring is a mess but the rest of the bike is good. Anyway going to tinker for a while and probably ask loads of daft questions.

Spend, spend, spend? Did you say you had a KLR or a KTM? JK

G'day mate, I'm new to the forum also, live in NSW Australia. When I saw your post I thought I'd reply as my wife is from Stirling and I lived in the Scotland for a few years when I was younger. I have a 2012 KLR 650 and so I won't have the same technical questions however I have a 1960 Norton Dominator in my shed which took some time to restore so I may be able to assist in that light. Welcome and enjoy
