Hello from Central Washington!

Got my '13 KLR650 a month ago- loving the machine. Added it to my fleet of one other motorbike, a '08 BMW 1200GS. Used to have a '07 Ural Patrol- that was for my daughter, the looks on her face riding in the sidecar will be with me the rest of my life. Love the GS, but wanted a second bike for when the brothers visit. Looked long and hard at other dual sports, almost went for another beem, but all my research led me to the KLR- like a willys jeep, does lots of things good, and can be field dressed along the trail. Great decision.

I live in Ellensburg, surrounded by beautiful hills with an incredible complex of unpaved roads. The WABDR runs right thru here, and I've chewed up good chunks of it. But one of my great joys is throwing my flyrod and waders on the back of the bike, and rambling along the Yakima river to one of many honey holes full of rainbows so fierce they visit you in your dreams threatening your grandkids.

Welcome to the KLR and this site.

You realize we are all "brother's" here!! I'll be needing an address.

Welcome to the forum, Panorambler. Yeah, I bet you've got some great riding and fishing out there. I spent some time around those parts back in the late 80's when I was the in the Army stationed at Ft. Lewis and I flew all over that area and always enjoyed the scenery. Have fun!
