Interstate and a 14t sprocket

Hey guys, Thinking about putting a 14t sprocket on my 06 klr 650, so that it does better when I am on trails.I am talking about rocky steep stuff. Problem is this. I usually drive 30-40 miles before I get off pavement. mostly 2 lane 65mph road... But sometimes I also have to get on I25 interstate to go to Denver or Lakewood, so, maybe I should just get a better tailpipe, and airbox so it breathes better at 8-10,000 ft????? What do you guys think???

Your engine will increase its rpm exactly by 1/15th at any given speed with the modification you propose.

At your current 4000 rpm speed, your engine must turn at 4267 rpm to sustain the same speed with a 14-tooth front sprocket (assuming my math is correct).

Ain't no thang for most; YMMV!
