Hey all, new to the Dual Sport game
I just got a 2013 KLR Friday, rode it about 300 miles of mostly dirt..........I have A LOT of street experience and have a couple of Harleys right now, one of which is a Jockey/Suicide and between the two of them I average about 40k a year.....but it's been twenty years since I've ridden dirt lol....So I low sided once and went wide in a turn and high sided in a bank, now that the first scratches are out of the way it's time for the first service and some farkle shopping. I'm not rich so any advice on lower cost mods are appreciated. Definitely need engine guards and such.....should have done that first but dealer had none and ummmmm well I HAD to ride it right then lol. Any recommendations on service intervals is greatly appreciated as well....Anyway's, Hello!!!
