Hey from Transylvania County NC

Just signed up, but have opened up the bag here a few times...like what I see!!

Just took delivery of '07 Killer June 1st, first bike in over 20 years. It stands on the bones of 7 other bikes, including a few Kawi smoker triples, and a GPZ550. Dang, it's good to be back on 2 wheels, even when it rains!!

Picked up a little Kymco scooter for the wife too...helped "convince" her to agree with my KLR

Right now, I'm doing mostly 30 mile commutes between home and work, with some scenic side trips tossed in, and a few "gentlemanly" trail rides. Aside from a couple minor factory defects, this bike is PERFECT for this part of the country. And quite useable for some distance runs, too. I believe that this here KLR and I will get along right well.

I'm looking forward to meeting y'all both here on the forum, and maybe in person as well, as I try to let osmosis fill my head with some of your experiences and knowledge.

Cheers, Frank...

Welcome back to two wheels!

With gas at over $3.25 a gallon here in California, I see a lot more people using their KLR's for work. That's part of the reason I bought a 2008 KLR 650 this morning.
