Noob in Calgary

Hi all, just brought home a new-to-me '08 yesterday. Low miles, a few useful accessories (SW-Moto bash plate, nerf bars, Trax panniers, Corbin saddle, and a few other things). Looking forward to putting some miles on it once the weather improves (it was -40 with the windchill when I brought it home!), and will spend the winter reading the threads here and learning from the more experienced KLR people here.

I'll post some pics a) when I have some and b) when I've figured out how.

Cheers!

Griff

Hiya Stew: yeah, weather is ..um... CRAP!

Had some issues getting the bike to start today - just didn't like the temperature.

Hoping things improve soon!

Welcome to the forum, Canucklehead. I hear they're good at clearing snow up there so it shouldn't be long before you can get on the road....

Sometimes it feels that way but thankfully it doesn't get that bad. Right now we're dealing more with cold temperatures than snow.
