Hello Everyone

Hi All,

Just bought a slightly used 87 KLR 14,000 miles in very good condition. New tires and brakes. I really didn't know what I was getting till I started to research the forums. I'm a mechanic so I should be able to handle working on it with the help from you all. Hope to have an enjoyable stay here. I'll have a ton of questions. I intend to do a lot of riding in the near future.

Welcome to the forum!

You've gotten one of the most versatile motorcycles ever built, tons of accessories available to custom tailor it to your needs as well. Great folks here as well

I see this bike has been mostly unchanged for 20 years. Looks like an outstanding design. Looking forward to riding it after I do a little work to it.
